Pinot Noirs
Thin-skinned red grapes
Pinot Noirs is the plural of Pinot Noir, a red wine grape variety and the wine made from it.
The grape is notoriously difficult to cultivate, producing wines that vary widely by region—from the celebrated Burgundies of France to versions from Oregon, California, and New Zealand.
We sampled three Pinot Noirs from different vineyards.
The wines are typically lighter-bodied than Cabernet Sauvignon, with flavors often described as earthy, fruity, or floral.
