Pac Man
Pellet-eating circle
Pac-Man is a 1980 arcade video game in which players guide a yellow, circular character through a maze, eating dots while avoiding ghosts.
The character's mouth opens and closes as it moves, creating its distinctive chomping appearance.
The name has become shorthand for voracious consumption: The company Pac-Manned its way through smaller competitors.
