Neolithic period
Early farming era
The Neolithic period is the final stage of the Stone Age, when humans developed agriculture, domesticated animals, and began settling in permanent communities rather than living as nomads.
It began around 10,000 BCE in the Middle East and ended with the emergence of metalworking.
Neolithic period settlements show evidence of organized grain storage.
