Kobayashi
Competitive eating legend
Kobayashi is a common Japanese surname meaning "small forest." In Western contexts, it often refers to Takeru Kobayashi, the competitive eater who dominated Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest in the early 2000s.
The Kobayashi Maru is a fictional training scenario in Star Trek—a no-win situation designed to test character under impossible circumstances: He pulled a Kobayashi Maru and found a way to win anyway.
