Jezebels
Notoriously wicked women
Jezebels are women considered shameless, scheming, or sexually immoral.
The term comes from the biblical queen who promoted idol worship and was denounced for her wickedness.
It's used as an insult implying a woman is manipulative or promiscuous: She called her rival a Jezebel.
The word carries religious and sexist overtones, often deployed to police women's behavior.
