Jack Horner
Plum-pulling pie boy
Jack Horner is the boy in the nursery rhyme who sat in a corner eating a Christmas pie, pulled out a plum with his thumb, and declared himself a good boy.
The name sometimes appears as a type for smug self-congratulation: He sat back like Little Jack Horner, pleased with his own cleverness.
