Frog Prince
Cursed enchanted suitor
The Frog Prince is a fairy tale figure—a prince transformed into a frog by a curse, restored to human form through a princess's kiss or act of kindness.
The story appears in the Brothers Grimm and countless adaptations.
Figuratively, a frog prince is an unpromising person who reveals hidden worth: She thought he might be her frog prince.
