Fifth Symphony
Da-da-da-DUM composition
A fifth symphony is the fifth major symphonic work in a composer's output, but the term most often refers to Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 in C minor, with its famous four-note opening motif.
That distinctive da-da-da-DUM is among the most recognized passages in Western classical music: The orchestra opened with the Fifth Symphony.
