Dewar flask
Double-walled insulating vessel
A Dewar flask is an insulated container with double walls and a vacuum between them, minimizing heat transfer to keep contents hot or cold for extended periods.
Named after physicist James Dewar, it's the design behind laboratory vessels for liquid nitrogen and the everyday thermos: She poured coffee from a Dewar flask.
