DNFs
Did not finish
DNFs is the plural of DNF, an acronym for "did not finish." In racing and competitive sports, a DNF marks a competitor who started but failed to complete the event: She has two wins and three DNFs this season.
The term has spread to casual contexts—readers tracking books they abandoned use DNF as both noun and verb: I DNFed that novel at page fifty.
