Cisco Kid

Heroic frontier horseman

The Cisco Kid is a fictional Mexican gunfighter and outlaw who appeared in American Western stories, films, and television from the early 20th century onward.

Originally a villain in O.

Henry's 1907 short story, the character evolved into a heroic figure—a charming, well-dressed caballero who fought injustice with his sidekick Pancho.

The name sometimes appears as slang for a flashy or swaggering person.
