Christian themes
Faith-based subject matter
Christian themes are ideas, symbols, or narrative patterns drawn from Christianity that appear in art, literature, film, or other creative works.
Common examples include redemption, sacrifice, resurrection, forgiveness, temptation, and the struggle between good and evil.
A work needn't be explicitly religious to contain Christian themes—The Chronicles of Narnia weaves them into fantasy, while The Shawshank Redemption explores them through prison drama.
The phrase often appears in content descriptions or critical analysis: The film has strong Christian themes.
