Canadian actor
Northern film performer
A Canadian actor is a performer from Canada working in film, television, or theater.
The phrase often appears in entertainment news and casting announcements: The role went to a Canadian actor.
Canada has produced many Hollywood stars, though their nationality sometimes surprises American audiences who assumed they were homegrown.
