Beaverton
Portland's western neighbor
Beaverton is a city in northwestern Oregon, part of the Portland metropolitan area.
It's the state's sixth-largest city, known for being Nike's world headquarters.
The name comes from beaver dams that once lined local creeks: I commute from Beaverton to downtown Portland.
