Alabama slammer
Sloe gin drink
An Alabama slammer is a sweet, fruity cocktail typically made with amaretto, Southern Comfort, sloe gin, and orange juice, producing a reddish color.
The drink is often served as a shooter: We ordered a round of Alabama slammers.
Popular in American bars since the 1970s, it's associated with casual drinking and college parties.
