Airbnb host
Short-term property manager
An Airbnb host is someone who rents out property—a spare room, apartment, or entire home—through the Airbnb platform.
The term implies a more personal, less institutional relationship than hotel management: hosts set their own rules, communicate directly with guests, and often provide local recommendations.
Our Airbnb host left us a bottle of wine and a list of her favorite restaurants.
