Adam-12

Vintage cop show

Adam-12 was an American television police drama that aired from 1968 to 1975, following two Los Angeles police officers on patrol.

The show popularized the police procedural format and realistic depiction of routine police work. "Adam" designated a two-officer patrol unit in LAPD radio codes, making the title essentially a call sign: Adam-12, respond to a 211 in progress.
