27 Dresses
Always supporting, never starring
A 2008 romantic comedy film starring Katherine Heigl as a woman who has been a bridesmaid twenty-seven times.
The title has become shorthand for the perennial bridesmaid—someone always supporting others' milestones while waiting for their own: She's basically living 27 Dresses at this point.
