Intense automotive illumination
Xenon lights are high-intensity lamps that produce light by passing electricity through xenon gas.
They're most familiar as automotive headlights, recognizable by their bright bluish-white glow: The xenon lights on that BMW are blinding.
Xenon bulbs also appear in camera flashes, projectors, and searchlights.
Sometimes called HID (high-intensity discharge) lights.
