wrestling rings
Grappling match venues
A wrestling ring is the square, elevated platform where professional wrestling matches take place.
Despite the name, it's not circular—the term carries over from boxing rings, which were originally round.
The ring features ropes on all sides, a padded canvas surface, and turnbuckles at each corner.
He climbed through the ropes and entered the ring.
