wolf teeth
Horse mouth remnants
Wolf teeth are small, vestigial premolars that sometimes appear in horses, usually in front of the first large cheek teeth.
They typically erupt around six months of age and often cause discomfort when a bit is placed in the mouth, so they're commonly extracted: The vet removed the mare's wolf teeth before training began.
