week-ends

Saturday and Sunday

Week-ends is a dated or British spelling of weekends, the plural of weekend—the period from Friday evening through Sunday that bookends the traditional work week.

The hyphen reflects the word's origin as a compound but has largely fallen out of use in American English: She spends her week-ends gardening.
