Official ballot roster
A voter registry is an official database of individuals eligible to vote in a given jurisdiction.
Election officials use it to verify identity and prevent duplicate voting at polling places.
Also called a voter roll or electoral roll: Her name wasn't on the voter registry, so she had to cast a provisional ballot.
