victory theme
Winner's celebratory melody
A victory theme is a short musical piece that plays when a player wins or achieves something in a video game—completing a level, defeating a boss, or finishing a battle.
The term comes from gaming but extends to any triumphant musical cue: The orchestra swelled into the victory theme as the hero raised his sword.
