unrepublican

Contrary to republicanism

Unrepublican describes conduct, values, or policies contrary to republican principles—typically representative government, civic virtue, and constitutional limits on power.

In American usage, it often means inconsistent with the ideals of the American republic: The founders would have considered such executive overreach unrepublican.

Less commonly, it describes something at odds with the Republican Party's positions or identity.
