Unrelaxed describes a state of tension, stiffness, or inability to be at ease.
A person who is unrelaxed may be anxious, on edge, or physically tense: She remained unrelaxed throughout the interview, her shoulders hunched and jaw tight.
The word can also describe muscles that haven't loosened or an atmosphere that feels strained.
It's the straightforward negation of relaxed, though uptight and tense are more commonly used in everyday speech.
