unhypnotizable

Cannot be mesmerized

Unhypnotizable describes someone who cannot be put into a hypnotic state.

Some people resist or fail to respond to hypnotic induction, whether due to skepticism, inability to relax, or neurological differences: The therapist had worked with resistant clients before, but this one seemed truly unhypnotizable.
