unfaithful
Breaking wedding vows
Unfaithful means not loyal or trustworthy.
Most commonly it describes someone who has cheated sexually on a spouse or partner: He was unfaithful to her for years.
More broadly, unfaithful can mean disloyal to any commitment or promise, or not true to an original: an unfaithful translation of the poem.
