Undercounter describes appliances designed to fit beneath a kitchen counter: an undercounter refrigerator, an undercounter dishwasher.
The term also appears as under-counter or under counter.
Occasionally used figuratively for transactions conducted covertly, by analogy with under-the-counter dealings.
