underaged
Not yet legal
Underaged means below the legal age for a particular activity—typically drinking alcohol, but also driving, voting, or consenting to sex.
The word usually appears in contexts of prohibition or transgression: underaged drinking, serving alcohol to underaged patrons.
The standard form is underage; underaged adds a superfluous -d but remains common.
