two-way audio
Speak and hear
Two-way audio refers to a communication system that transmits sound in both directions, allowing people on each end to speak and listen.
The term appears most often with security cameras, baby monitors, and intercom systems: The doorbell camera has two-way audio, so I can talk to delivery drivers from my phone.
Distinguished from one-way audio, which only transmits sound in a single direction.
