twisting balloon
Clown's inflatable art
A twisting balloon is a long, narrow balloon designed to be twisted and shaped into figures—animals, hats, swords, flowers.
They're the stock-in-trade of balloon artists at children's parties and street fairs.
Also called modeling balloons or balloon animals (by metonymy for what's made from them).
The clown handed each child a twisting balloon dog.
