troop meeting

Youth group assembly

A troop meeting is a regular gathering of a scout troop—typically Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, or similar youth organizations.

Troops meet weekly or biweekly to work on badges, plan outings, and conduct troop business: I have to leave early for my troop meeting.

The term occasionally applies to military unit assemblies, though this usage is less common.
