tradables
Items for commerce
Tradables are goods and services that can be bought and sold across borders or between regions, as opposed to those that must be consumed where they're produced.
Economists use the term to distinguish between sectors exposed to international competition tradables like manufactured goods and commodities and those insulated from it nontradables like haircuts and local construction.
The tradable sector of an economy typically faces more price pressure and efficiency demands than the nontradable sector.
