touchdown celebrations
Post-score exuberance displays
Touchdown celebrations are the choreographed or spontaneous displays players perform after scoring in American football.
These range from simple gestures like spiking the ball to elaborate dances, group performances, or prop-based routines.
The NFL has alternately restricted and relaxed rules governing celebrations, once banning excessive displays before loosening restrictions in 2017.
