torquey
Strong low-end pull
Torquey describes an engine or vehicle that produces strong torque—rotational force that accelerates from low speeds without needing high RPMs.
A torquey engine pulls hard when you step on the gas: That diesel is incredibly torquey off the line.
The term is casual, mostly found in automotive discussions and reviews.
