timidness
Shrinking violet quality
Timidness is the quality of being timid—shy, fearful, or lacking boldness.
The word works but sounds slightly awkward; timidity is the more natural noun form: His timidness kept him from speaking up versus His timidity kept him from speaking up.
Both mean the same thing.
