thumb picks
Banjo player's accessories
Thumb picks are plectrums that fit over the thumb, used by guitarists and banjo players to pluck strings with more volume and precision than bare fingers allow.
The pick typically has a band or ring that wraps around the thumb and a blade extending past the thumb tip: She prefers thumb picks for fingerstyle playing.
Often used alongside finger picks on the other digits.
