Dissertation plan submitted
A thesis proposal is a formal document outlining a planned research project for an advanced academic degree.
It presents the research question, methodology, and significance of the proposed study, seeking approval from faculty before the actual thesis work begins.
The proposal demonstrates that the student has identified a viable topic and knows how to investigate it: Her thesis proposal on urban food deserts was approved by the committee.
