Absence of weeping
Tearlessness is the state of being without tears—either the physical absence of crying or an emotional composure that prevents it.
The word usually describes someone who remains dry-eyed in circumstances where tears would be expected: Her tearlessness at the funeral unsettled the other mourners.
It can suggest stoicism, emotional numbness, or simply having no tears left.
