Teabagger has two distinct meanings.
In sexual slang, a teabagger is someone who places their scrotum on another person's face or in their mouth—the motion resembling dipping a teabag.
The term gained political currency around 2009 when Tea Party activists initially called themselves teabaggers, apparently unaware of the sexual meaning.
Critics quickly seized on the double entendre, and the label became a derisive term for Tea Party supporters: The teabaggers showed up to protest the healthcare bill.
