A taxi tip is the gratuity given to a cab driver at the end of a ride, typically calculated as a percentage of the fare.
In the U.S., 15-20% is customary: I added a few dollars as a taxi tip.
The amount often reflects service quality, help with luggage, or navigation through difficult traffic.
