sugar wax
Caramel-like hair remover
Sugar wax is a hair removal paste made from sugar, lemon juice, and water—essentially a thick caramel applied to skin and stripped away to pull out hair.
Unlike traditional wax, it's water-soluble and washes off easily.
The technique, also called sugaring, originated in the Middle East and is gentler on sensitive skin: I switched to sugar wax because regular wax irritates me.
