street dancers
Sidewalk movement artists
Street dancers are people who perform dance in public spaces—sidewalks, plazas, subway platforms—often for tips from passersby.
The term also refers to practitioners of street dance styles like breaking, popping, and locking, which emerged from urban culture rather than formal training: The street dancers drew a crowd in Times Square.
