state quarter
Regional twenty-five cents
A state quarter is one of the fifty commemorative 25-cent coins issued by the U.S.
Mint between 1999 and 2008, each featuring a design representing a different state.
The program sparked widespread collecting: My daughter has a state quarter map she's trying to fill.
The coins remain in regular circulation.
