Twenty-five cent piece
A Washington quarter is a U.S. twenty-five-cent coin featuring George Washington's profile, minted since 1932.
It replaced the Standing Liberty quarter and remains the standard quarter design, though the reverse has varied for commemorative series: I need a Washington quarter for the parking meter.
Often shortened to just "quarter" in everyday speech.
