starfish arm
Sea creature limb
A starfish arm is one of the radiating limbs extending from the central disc of a starfish, typically five in number.
Each arm contains extensions of the starfish's vital organs and can often regenerate if severed—in some species, a detached arm can grow into a complete new animal.
The starfish arm was still moving after it broke off.
