stamp collection
Philatelist's prized holdings
A stamp collection is an accumulation of postage stamps gathered as a hobby.
Collectors—called philatelists—seek stamps for their historical, artistic, or monetary value, often organizing them by country, era, or theme in albums.
His grandfather's stamp collection included rare Victorian-era specimens.
The hobby was once ubiquitous among children but has declined with physical mail.
