spoofers
Those who deceive
Spoofers are people or things that spoof—that fake, imitate, or deceive.
A spoofer might create parodies: The spoofers behind Scary Movie.
In technology, spoofers falsify data to disguise identity or origin: Email spoofers made the message appear to come from your bank.
Caller ID spoofers, GPS spoofers, and IP spoofers all manipulate systems by presenting false information.
