split test
A/B trial method
A split test compares two or more versions of something to see which performs better.
In marketing and web design, you might split test email subject lines, landing pages, or ad copy by showing different versions to different users and measuring results: We split tested the checkout button—red outperformed blue by 12%.
Also called A/B testing.
